Refund & Cancellation Policy

Deposits and payments may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:

The seller fails to accept the contract within the specified acceptance window.

The animal is found to be materially different from the listing description (species, breed, weight, or health condition).

A veterinary inspection reveals the animal does not meet the health standards required for Qurbani.

The seller cancels the contract after acceptance.

Delivery is not completed by the contracted end date through no fault of the buyer.

Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:

The buyer changes their mind after the seller has accepted the contract and preparations have begun.

The buyer fails to provide delivery instructions or is unavailable at the agreed delivery time.

Minor cosmetic differences in the animal that do not affect its suitability for Qurbani (e.g., slight colour variation).

Market price fluctuations after the contract has been accepted.

The buyer's KYC or account is suspended due to policy violations.

Automatic refund (contract not accepted): if a seller does not accept a contract within the acceptance window, the deposit is automatically refunded within 3–5 business days.

Seller-initiated cancellation: refund is processed within 5–7 business days of the cancellation.

Dispute-based refund: once a dispute is resolved in the buyer's favour, the refund is processed within 7–10 business days.

Veterinary inspection failure: refund is processed within 5–7 business days of the inspection report being submitted.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the deposit.

Before seller accepts: the buyer may cancel at any time and receive a full deposit refund.

After seller accepts but before fulfillment begins: a cancellation fee of 10% of the deposit may be deducted.

After fulfillment has started (veterinary inspection, caretaking, or dispatch): no refund is available unless a dispute is filed and resolved in the buyer's favour.

Hissa (share) cancellations: if a share buyer cancels, the seller may re-list that share. The cancellation policy above applies to the individual share amount.

In-app: navigate to your contract, tap the dispute/cancellation option, and follow the prompts.

By email: send your contract ID, reason for refund, and any supporting evidence to refunds@paksaf.com.

Include your registered email and phone number for identity verification.

Refund requests submitted by email will be acknowledged within 2 business days and resolved within the timelines specified in section 3.

In some cases, a partial refund may be issued:

If the animal's actual weight at delivery differs significantly from the listed weight, a pro-rata adjustment may be made.

If certain contracted services (e.g., specific packaging or distribution) were not provided, the cost of those services may be refunded.

Platform service fees are non-refundable unless the contract was never accepted by the seller.
